The Pangasinan Polytechnic College (PPC) is a public, non sectarian, non-partisan technical-vocational, and higher educational institution operating primarily from the subsidy of the Provincial Government of Pangasinan. Its curricular courses offering and other allied and relevant degree programs may be offered upon authorization duly issued by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and the Commission on Higher
Education (CHED).

The establishment of the PPC is anchored on the need to harness the tremendous human resources potential of the province by improving the physical, intellectual, and material well-being of Pangasinenses through higher occupational, technical, and professional instruction and training in the applied arts and sciences related to the fields of commerce, business administration, and technology, among others

Under the leadership of Governor Ramon V. Guico III and the support of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan headed by Vice Governor Mark Ronald DG. Lambino, the PPC is envisioned to contribute to the enrichment and further development of the educational ecosystem and landscape in the province of Pangasinan. As a community college, the PPC will provide quality, relevant, responsive, inclusive, and globally competitive education and learning opportunities for deprived and disadvantaged learners who will be equipped with knowledge, skills, and values to complete and contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the Province and the country in general.

The PPC was institutionalized on June 26, 2023, through the passage of Provincial Ordinance No. 300 – 2023, and amended by Provincial Ordinance No. 314 – 2024 on January 22, 2024.
